Hey CommonKid here,
I have been in this game for awhile and have been bothered by various things. One of these things, unfortunately, is people. I know I am now in this lifestyle which I got to be a people person now but it does not mean I have to like all of them. I want to address the many types of people on these forums by using an apple tree as my symbol. There are the few people on here that are in this and work to get the good apples that haven't been bruised by the ground. There is the person on these things that see that the apples are too high to even work for so they gather the apples on the ground and feel they have monopolized on them and make others feel like their apples are wanted.
But then there are the people who make fun of those people because they say those apples aren't good but even though they are starving they still think they can get a good apple if it falls near them. But sorry you got to wait because chances are that apple will fall near the other person waiting for that same apple. Then you got the hard worker who actually figures out he needs to get up to those apples still out of reach so he uses tools; sticks, throws objects, builds ladders. This person will even climb the tree even if it means scraping his knees or falling causing them injury. This person has many obstacles to go through because he is envied by people. Some people will enjoy this person’s achievements and use his tools or copy his methods.
But some people make this person’s work harder by trying to steal his ladder or maybe try to ride on his back to get to the good apples. Even though this person is bad, he just doesn't have the capacity to figure out how to get to those apples and the only way he will get there is by using the person who can not get them. This person is not even the worst of the types of apple stealer out there. There is always the gluttonous thief who just can not get enough apples so he decides he will take it upon them to take everyone's apples. He will take the rotten apples when the scavenger is not looking. He will gather the people who are waiting for apples and promise them a way to those apples only to use them to get to the apples themselves and just end up selling the rotten apples that were stolen in the first place. This person even steals from the person who stole from the person who works hard. That is he will steal it after he had befriended these people to adopt their ways and steal their piggyback ride to the top and then kick the person off who got them their.
But, it is not always about deceiving, because when it comes to the select few who have found a way to the good apples, these guys have decided there are enough apples on top for everyone. This person wants to share his wealth, maybe for the recognition or for a little payment but he still makes it possible for most people to get to the top only if they put their trust in him. The problem with this is the person realized most people will become satisfied with the apples nearer to the ground that they could eat most the apples on top. What he did not plan for was the more people he leads to the apples the fewer apples there will be. Thus, another problem arises.
Luckily most people are lazy, so most still remain satisfied waiting for an apple to fall or just pick them up off the ground. Some of those people do not even like apples which is good for some of us. Then there are one’s who can not even eat apples, do not bother with eating, or try to grow their own apple trees. You might be saying why do you bother writing this? What is your point? My point is there are different people out there. Some will help you, some will hold you back, and some will just be there. You are one of these people. I know who I am. I know even though there is the possibility that leaking all our pick up secrets can make it harder to get women, either from an “apple shortage” or having our secret revealed, it will not happen. Mainly because there are the people who can’t, won’t, or don’t eat “apples” and if there is one way exposed that gets exhausted there is always another way people can invent or create that is unique or modified to get those “apples.”
I am not trying to separate us here on this board because this life style is what brings us together and we all help each other in some way. Some help more than others but we still help. Mostly, I am hoping the people here understand that sometimes we need each other and when we go out on the field we should feel connected, not feel like we got to outperform each other. I have been called out a few times by other people, mostly afcs, because they feel I have to measure up to their expectations.
Let's keep this stuff fun, stick together and remember its already hard for people to progress with some of this stuff, we do not need others here to mess it up. Well, maybe we do so we will be ready for anything once we reach the top. Anyways, I was just bored and felt like ranting and writing. Feel free to take some insight from this and respond positively or negatively. I'll enjoy it haha.
