Sup people. I took the day off work today, so I decided to chill at the pool and soak up some rays. It was pretty boring for the most part, but I was hoping some HBs would walk up so I could practice my direct day game. Eventually a cutie roamed by, but for whatever reason, my mind went blank and I couldn't think of any good openers.
I recalled a convo some guys were having on Maxim radio the other day ago about whether or not to change out a mattress when you start becoming serious with a girl and decide to move in with her. I decided to use this. I approached with "Hey, I'm kinda bored right now, mind if I chat you up for a bit?" which scared the living sheeit out of the girl cuz she was laying on her stomache and had no idea I was there. But, she was really nice and said she would like the company.
This isn't a field report though, so I'll get to the point. So here was the opener:
ME: So I was listening to the radio yesterday and a bunch of guys were debating something kinda funny. They were pretty much unanimous on how they felt about it, so I wanted to get a girl's opinion on it. So basically, if you start to get serious with a girl... errrr... or in your case a guy... well, maybe, i guess i don't really know you though (sly smile)
HB: (giggles) no, i'm definitely into guys
ME: Good to know... so anyway, if you decide to take the next step in a relationship and move in with someone, do you feel you should change out your mattress? As in, maybe the old mattress has bad karma as a result of previous relationships and/or hookups?
From there you can take it all kinds of directions, but it has the added benefit of allowing you to see how kinky the chick is. At one point I said, "Yeah, I'm pretty sure if there were stains on the bed, I'd make the girl change it out, or might stop seeing her because she clearly has been around the block with the new kids one too many times. Stains or not though, I'd definitely recommend changing the sheets." I watched her eyes as I said the stains part to see if maybe she related to that, but instead, she was totally repulsed by the idea of a stained mattress. The girl agreed that the sheets should definitely be changed, but not necessarily the mattress. Which leads me to presume that 1. She has had hookups on her bed and is thus somewhat experienced in bed, and 2. She hasn't had a ton of hookups, because her mattress is clean. So basically I qualified what type of sex life this girl has in the first 5 minutes I'd been talking to her. Also, in the event she were seeing someone serious currently, I think she would have probably mentioned whether or not she changed the sheets when they got serious.
So, it seemed to work well for me today (even though it's probably not the best day opener) and I'll work some more on perfecting this opener. Feel free to use it and hit me up with how it works out.
