I need Testees

I'm adding a message board to my new website http://www.askjdog.com, and would like some feedback on the user experience.

Virtually all forums use the same format that has been used for over 10 years, and there's not much that is promising in the web 2.0 arena.

This option would require a monthly fee, but I feel it provides a much cleaner feel. Otherwise I can integrate a clean and simplistic forum right into the website, so it will maintain the same look and feel of askjdog. However, there won't be any advanced features such as PM's, group emails, assignable moderators, attachment of files, gallery, etc.

Let me know if you can help test out a couple of these solutions to help me pick one, before I make it live.

Hi JDog,

I just tried to join, but it didn't let me join, saying "Membership Required For Posting On Askjdog Forum", even when I was filling out the section for "create user".  Is there anything I have to do in specific?

I really appreciate how easy it is to sign up as a new user - no long forms with unnecessary info, no email confirmation, no 're-enter your email' or password. nice. I also like the easy to use chat room.

Thanks Sunslayer.. I'm actually thinking about transferring it all over to a self hosted platform. Not sure yet..

It's now on http://forum.askjdog.com btw, since the testing phase went well back in December 08.
