I'm going to revamp this whole bootcamp, but give me a few days while I set out some goals for myself, which I'll post here.

Regardless, I'm not going to let this thing die.  I just need some time.  Just you wait and see...

Alright, I'm actually going to do it. Starting tomorrow, I'm going to invest in the Mystery Method bootcamp, consisting of:

-Going out gaming at least four nights a week (if not more)
-Open twelve sets per night
-Rigorous usage of the three-second rule

In addition, here are some of my personal goals that I have for this introductory period:

-Bootcamp concludes at 500 total opened sets
-Half of sets opened per night (at least 6) using canned material
-Half of sets using new and experimental material in the process of becoming canned (up to 24 repetitions). Purpose is to build a collection so I can stack.
-One new chick-crack / cold read per week
-One new DHV story / unique conversational thread per week
-All of this has to be done totally sober

These criterion will stay consistent throughout the duration of the newbie mission journal. If I can go through this at the minimium rate I have listed here, then it will take me ten weeks, I'll have ten each of conversational openers, cold read techniques and stories. Afterwards, I'll start focusing on some other things such as NLP patterning and whatnot.

Sound like a good idea? I would like feedback. I'm going to begin on Sunday.

Mother fucker, I need more committment.

Alright, so I went out tonight.  I decided that as I'm going into this newbie mission journal knowing a bit about pick-up that I might as well start with the tried-and-true, Universal Opener:

"Hi".  Or at least variations of hi, such as "What's up" and "How's it going".  My goal was twenty.  I made it to seven before I saw my lil bro in my fraternity chilling at My Big Fat Greek Restaurant.  I hadn't seen him in several months and talked to him in as long, so I sat down and started chatting, which took a few hours and ended up with a walk back to his apartment, conveniently located next to my car at the now defunct McDuffy's parking lot.  So I left.

I said hi mostly to people walking past.  Didn't matter if it was a man or woman, or group of women, the point was to just walk up, say hi, and then just walk away.  Not a very dangerous place to start.  But I just wanted to know what that was like because I haven't really done the whole "sarging on Mill Avenue alone" deal just yet.  And I didn't even make my goal.

So that means that next time will have to be just more sets.  Open more sets, open more sets.

Sounds like you're focusing/practicing a lot of the same things as me; being a "social whore" as I mentioned in my journal.

I just got verified, not sure if you are, but perhaps we can work together. Hit me up sometime, I'm in old town scottsdale.
