my 2 cents and thanks
« on: February 13, 2006, 03:49:02 PM »
First I would like to thank everyone of PUA Arizona for their insights.  I have been a member for only a short time and your comments, observations, support and friendship have been invaluable.

I appreciate the fact that everyone has a different technique, and that there is no "one right way".  Many say that they use different techniques.

My observation thus far has been it, quite simply, boils down to communication.  Consciously knowing what you want to communicate, what you want to achieve, is what separates an AFC from an RAFC, whether it be in a bar or a boardroom.  Again, "consciously knowing" and being aware is key.  An AFC, to me at least, is a person who is unaware of what he is doing or doesn't have a "plan" and gets frustrated because he does not achieve what he set out to achieve.  Would you pitch a sale to a potential buyer and never talk about the product?  Just talking about the weather and never getting mentioning the product, only to walk away and wonder, "Gee, why didn't they buy this from me?" only leads to frustration.  Talking about the weather and wondering why she didn't seem interested in me is the same thing.

Anyway, a little rant and a lot of appreciation for all the good stuff that goes on here.
