Found this on bristollair.com, not for sure where it was posted, maybe it originated there... author is xlp. It has no date or other information indicated. Not really "peacocking" but a tip concerning "looks":
------
It's time for me to reveal my ever-so-popular....yet ever so SIMPLE technique for luscious red lips that women find incredibly attractive. The cool thing about this, is that it only takes about 20 seconds to do, and the more you do it, the more your lips will look that much better! You see, the secret to this technique is that you SEAL in the moisture, which is what makes your lips look amazing. Using lip balm alone does NOT do this!
What you need:
1. Any kind of lip balm with some % of spf in it, for example, Blistex, and Chapstick both have products with this. My personal favorite is the Blistex Advanced for cold weather. It's water proof, so it won't come off in the rain, it can be used in winter under cold temperatures, or in the summer, and in my opinion it has the best texture...for example, most of Lypsyl's products are quite heavy and messy compared to Blistex.
2. Any kind of bathroom type paper.... toilet paper, kleenex, even that brown paper at your school.
3. Lukewarm water.
The technique:
A word of advice, do not neglect the instructions, ok asshole? just kidding

1. Take some toilet paper or whatever paper you decided to use, for example if you're using toilet paper, you need to get about as much you need to wipe your ass with, and make sure its in a square style shape.
2. Wet it with LUKEWARM water, i cannot stress this enough, it HAS to be lukewarm water, NOT cold, NOT hot, lukewarm water.
3. Open your mouth, put it in your mouth so it covers your lips and bite down. It's important that your lips get wet with this lukewarm water, so do it right.
4. Hold it there for 10 to 15 seconds.
5. As soon as you get it off your lips, have your lip balm there and ready to be applied ASAP after removing the paper from your lips.
6. Apply a generous amount of lip balm to your lips, and make sure to even it out, put as much on your lower lip as you do on your upper lip.
NOTE: You know how girls put their lips together after applying lipstick? Do this after step 6 for better results. After drinking and eating you should re-apply your lip balm using this technique.
